Pelvic Organ Prolapse Master Class

A one-day course designed for Clinicians and Professionals working closely with women with pelvic organ prolapse symptoms in the health and fitness sector.

Supercharge your confidence and knowledge in helping manage POP patients attending your clinics.

This course is open to health and fitness professionals working with women presenting with pelvic floor dysfunction.

It is NOT essential for you to be performing internal pelvic floor examinations to attend the course. However, the objective examination and POP-Q station is supplementary learning for practitioners already performing pelvic floor examinations and does not take the place for an accredited pelvic floor examination course.

*Our signature course 'Pelvic Floor and More' teaches you pelvic floor assessment skills.

We’ll cover

  • Facts & figures, types of POP, implications of POP to patients and what it means for you, the clinician and health professional. The most up to date evidence will be discussed within this section.

  • Subjective, objective including the validated POP Q system using pelvic simulators and models.

  • Evidence based management strategies will be discussed and although this course is NOT a pessary fitting course, it will include a section on pessaries - including real pessaries on display to hold and feel. The goal is to empower clinicians with treatment options for clients and understand when to refer on and of course, who to.

  • The do's and don'ts. This will include practical exercise demonstrations.

  • We’ll explore whats out there.

BONUS

A demonstration of real-time ultrasound will be provided on the day to display how valuable this can be in your pelvic health assessment. Demo purposes only.
